The people behind the mission

OneSupport has been run out of San Marcos, Texas since 1993. Most of the people running it were in the building for the first shift, and they stayed. Thirty-plus years of the same hands on the same work is the most useful thing you can know about us.

01
Rooted

San Marcos, Texas since 1993. Same town, same building, same phone number.

02
Invested

Privately held for thirty-plus years. Nobody here has ever had to answer to a buyer.

03
Distance

Seven of nine leaders have been here twenty years or longer. Four since the first decade.

04
Close

Leadership sits in the same time zone as the floor, and most weeks on it.

Company history

Thirty-three years, one owner

The channels changed, the building did not. Here is the short version of how a single support contract in San Marcos became an outsourced customer experience operation, without a sale, a merger, or a move.

1993 Founded

Anthony Herrera opens a technical support center in San Marcos, Texas on a single support contract. George Yang is there for the first year.

1994 Independent

Jill Herrera takes over the finances in year two. The company has stayed privately held and independently run ever since.

1997 First platform

Ray Perez joins and builds the first support platform under the floor, starting a rebuild cycle that has now run four times over.

2003 Beyond voice

Andrew McEwen and Ryan Lommel both join, one into operations and one into delivery, as the queues begin to carry more than phone calls.

2012 Full CX

Programs shift from phone-only technical support to full outsourced customer experience. Most contacts no longer involve a call.

Today Cloud contact center

A cloud stack that integrates with a client's own CRM, run by a leadership bench that mostly came up through the support floor.

Who Runs OneSupport

Executive Team

There is no revolving door here. The founder still chairs the board, the CEO started on the original support floor, and most of the operations bench came up through it. When you escalate something, it reaches someone who has done the job.

Culture

What the tenure actually buys you

Promotion from the floor

Most of the operations bench started on the phones here. The path from agent to supervisor to VP is one people have actually walked.

One building

Leadership works out of the same San Marcos office as the floor, in the same time zone as the programs they are accountable for.

Short escalation path

Nine people run this company. A hard problem reaches someone who can decide on it in one step, not four.

Same people, same phone number

Every name on this page is reachable. If you want to talk about a program, you will end up in a room with the person who owns whether it delivers or not.
